To have a little bit of a recap. . .

Book CoverTuesday May 13, Lisa Kleypas visited The Good, The Bad and The Unread. Fun things happened like some great questions discussing heroes and point of view and thanks for the great, wonderful, spectacular responses. There were some excerpts from Lisa’s upcoming books, Seduce Me at Sunrise (can I have it now Sybil? Pretty please?) and A Wallflower Christmas. And, of course, Lisa herself was here all day! SSQQQUUEEE!

Honestly, it’s nice to see all the comments and readers come out and discuss the work of a great author. There were some good responses and if you click any of the links below you can continue to discuss these things. Really, ’cause it’s fun. :)

Discussion Questions:

Question 1

Question 2

Question 3

Question 4

Seduce Me at Sunrise excerpt.

A Wallflower Christmas excerpt.

The contest (sorry it is already closed, but it’s nifty either way).

Thanks everyone for making it a very good day! :) And thanks millions to Lisa who provided the wonderful material to be discussed.

Thank you to Sybil and Lisa! You guys rock! Now I’m just waiting for the summer to gloss through so I can get my hands on these books come fall! Something to look forward to: back to school and Lisa’s books!

Thank you to everyone this was soooooo much fun. I had been looking to discuss BED and you ladies really gave me the perfect out let. The book was a awesome but I had been having a hard time trying to get people to go into A discussion. Kind of like a book club. A dissection of some of the topics. But I got it all out of my system here.

And Lisa is two words, TOP NOTCH!!!!!!!!!!! I mean she is just so gracious answering our questions and really delving into the larger themes of her books, it was great fun. And not many authors do that. Shes one of the few the proud!

    Later On,
    Anne A.

So this is something you guys liked? We would like to do it more… duckie club would be a cross between a bookclub and… uh just a chat

We just can’t do something stuffy like a ‘BOOKCLUB’ so it question is would there be enough interest? It is basically sitting down with some wine chatting about a book with your girlfriends. And GUYS! you can play too… only diff is the author gets to play too.

At least that was the idea… and we have a bunch planned… so what are your thoughts?

I’m relatively new to the site, but I loved the recent Lisa Kleypas day and discussions, so thanks Lisa for answering all the questions and for you guys for organising it. You should definitely do more events like that.

p.s. When will the winners of the SMAS ARC be announced?

    soon *g*

They aren’t printed yet but she should have them in a few weeks – winners will be announced before then of course.

Sadly Lisa’s kiddo got sick and pulled her away from the blog. But she is going to try and make it back today or tomorrow and finish up answering questions.

So feel free to ask a few more *g*
