Callie is considered a brat by most of the dominants who are regulars at Club Dominion until it seems Sean Kirkpatrick tames her down and collars her. Callie is hiding a lot of secrets and uses her crusty attitude to keep people at a distance. Unbeknownst to her, both Sean and Mitchell Thorpe, club dominant and owner, know her secrets.

Mitchell has desired Callie with all her secrets for years but has kept his desires locked down because he fears that he cannot give her the future that she needs. However, when Sean enters the scene, tames and collars Callie, Mitchell can’t seem to let them be either. With the two men posturing with each other and treating Callie like a bone between them, her suspicions are raised and she goes on the run.

But Callie has a target on her back and it will take both men working in unison to keep her safe.  I thoroughly enjoyed the sojourn at the topless club where Callie becomes a dancer and the guys finally run her down after several days of hunting for her. Poor Callie, I certainly shiver at the possible punishments she faces from both dominants.  I guess it’s really Lucky Callie, because it seems like the guys have put aside their differences and finally decided to give her what she wants and needs. The loving is short lived since there’s still a target on Callie’s back and Mitchell definitely knows he’s not for her, given his past and age.

Can they all work their way to keeping Callie safe and providing her with what she needs? While you might certainly be able to figure out the answer, it’s the journey that you need to read about to definitely discover.  The ending reaches out and grabs all my emotions. What a wonderful ending to an very interesting story.

I’ve enjoyed this series so far. As always, some stories touch you more than others. It’s great to briefly visit with all the characters in the series so far and get a glimpse of what the author has in store for us in the future.
