Veena’s review of In Her Sights (Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters, Book 1) by Katie Ruggle
Romantic Suspense published by Sourcebooks Casablanca 26 Mar 19
I’m going through a phase right now where a lot of my favorite go-to authors are not writing at all or writing fewer novels than they used to. Reluctantly I’ve been exploring out of my comfort zone and finding new authors to enjoy and become faithful to. In that light, I recently picked up this book from new-to-me author Katie Ruggle to see if she will become one of my go-to authors. The verdict…
While I have some mixed feelings I will definitely read more in this series. There’s a lot going on here. Five bounty hunter sisters, a dysfunctional mother, and a rival bounty hunter who definitely doesn’t want to be a rival. I think it’s cute but becomes a bit tiresome when Molly can’t see through John’s attempts to be there for him.
The sisters are delightful. Their antics will keep you laughing, and the mother will make you want to pull your hair out and wonder why someone like that ever had children, let alone five of them. This is one of those stories where everything that could go wrong does, and, fortunately for Molly and her sisters, John is there for her, playing her white knight.

She needs help, stat.
