You have to admire Erin Bellini’s gumption to continue with her wedding reception after her fiancé sends her a Dear John letter at the eleventh hour.  But it’s Jason Callum whom you have to love when he creates a reception committee to warn the guests to enjoy themselves and not question Erin about what happened. Erin decides she wants a revenge relationship on the rebound and who better to execute that plan with but the best man.  The rest is history, but the telling is what will keep you reading and chuckling and even shedding a tear or two.

Jason has loved Erin from afar for a very long time, but he’s held back due to their friendship. In fact, he was with her the night when their best friend asked her out before he could. Now he’s hard pressed to resist her entreaties to make her feel good by having sex with her. He’s playing the long game and a few cold showers will be worth it in the long run.

Just when things are looking up, the ex is back on the scene with a legitimate, if misguided, reason for calling off the wedding. Is Jason going to be left hanging on the outside again? A slow-moving sweet romance with a cute cast of characters from one of my favorite authors.

Summary:

Erin isn’t sure she can trust her instincts, though. After all, she made a terrible choice with her ex-fiancé. But Jason intends to convince her that he’s the best man for her, and that what they have together is a real love that will last forever.
