I’ve just signed 6 contracts for the first six Richard and Rose books – four that have been out already, two that are new. There should be at least two more to come.
This is my first series, about a couple in mid-Georgian England. The series is the only one I wrote that is best read in order, because it follows Richard and Rose from courtship to marriage and beyond.
“Yorkshire,” “Devonshire,” “Venice,” “Harley Street,” “Darkwater” and “Eyton” are the contracts I’ve signed for, and there are at least two more planned.
The publisher? Samhain. They’ve done such a brilliant job with the Chance series and the Secrets series, I’m only too delighted to offer them Richard and Rose. Angie James should be editing them.
And yes, I’m thrilled to bits.
Congratulations, Lynne. I look forward to your Richard and Rose series from Samhain. I haven’t read any of them, but I’ve certainly heard about their trials and tribulations (as well as yours) over the years.
