ETS: The Response has been Fab and really I can take more than one so I have extended til Sept 1, 2008. I have also added ONE bullet. If you do not include a subject, your ebook will not be considered. It is possible it will be reviewed but I can’t chase them all down to figure out what is what. I am sorry I should have thought of that to begin with. If you have already sent in an ebook for review and/or because it is the bestest ebook evah that is swell and I will email you. That is my fault. Going forward PLEASE subject your email.
IF you haven’t heard from me yet it is because I am behind on my email because of that whole couldn’t see thing…. promise I am working though it ;).
We WANT to know about your awesome ebook for an amazingly nifty event we are doing. And I am pretty much lost a week because of my eye. So ACK! Any genre…. chick-lit… erotica… paranormal… historical… fiction…. whatever… aim here is ebook… BUT IT MUST be Fabu!
NOW! I have a few qualifications…
- This great book MUST be released between March 1, 2008 and Sept 1, 2008.
- It can’t be self published.
- The novel can be your first or 20th (you CAN have books out in print with the same or different publishers).
- Has to be released by a royalty-paying ebook company.
- NO re-releases or reprints (nothing against ’em but not what I am looking for this time).
You are welcome to rec your own book(s) or that of your friends. You can rec away here in the comments (please don’t worry about ‘would it look bad to promo yourself’), email or both.
Send the eARCs to TGTBTU. Include the following info:
- Subject Your Email “Sybil NEEDS an Ebook…” [trust me you want to stand out in my email]
- Title, author and publisher.
- Summary(ies) (ies if more than one book).
- Word count – PAGE count – would be fab if you have it, if not I will need it if your book is picked before your scheduled days.
- Sub-genre – STATE IF IT IS NOT A ROMANCE.
I will say right now, I want to include all “e’s” because TGTBTU has always has a commitment to the e-publishers and the e-authors to include them with print romance. We read them and we enjoy them. And hope our visitors do as well. However, just like we can’t include all the print authors we want, we can’t include all the e and that’s the reason for the rules you see above. Hopefully, ::crossess fingers:: these events will do well and we will keep doing them.
Oh and just a note, if there are more typos than normal, that isn’t Sybilish. I just can’t see what the fuck I am typing.
Natural Law, by Joey Hill
Like a Thief in the Night, by Bettie Sharpe
Ember, by Bettie Sharpe (It’s free, so I won’t count it as self-published, and it’s the best effing e-book EVA!)
Okay stupid question. When you say it must be released between March and May, does that mean it’s release date must be between those dates or that it must be only be in release during that time?
Ya know… if the deadline wasn’t May 1, I could have two titles for you. But neither of them come out until like the 1 st and the 3rd weeks of May.
😛
10 Days in Paradise by Dawn Halliday releases April 22 from Samhain and it freaking rocks. The book has two plot elements that I usually wouldn’t read/be interested in but man did I love this book. The hero is seriously drool worthy.
So there is my recommendation. Only my opinion, of course, but it’s fantastic *g*
I recently read Maya Banks Golden Eyes and the book is great.
Raine Weaver’s The Last Man on Earth releases April 4 from Samhain 🙂
