Heads up, fans! This series is continuing to gather momentum in new and adventurous ways as more of the SWAT team members find their ‘ONE.’ This is not a book to be read out of order, since it continues the story from the last one.
In their search for the villains from the previous book, key members of the SWAT team are in Tinsel Town in pursuit of clues. Their search takes them to a nightclub where they not only spot their quarry but also notice some strange goings-on. Two submissive wolves are being targeted and Zane smells the most enticing scent – could she be his ‘ONE’?
As it turns out, the enticing scent belongs to FBI agent Alyssa, who, though not a werewolf herself, hunts supernaturals. Though wary of each other, they team up in pursuit of a common goal to decipher and unravel the mystery. Their search leads them to the most bizarre and sinister outcome, which threatens to obliterate who and what they are.
Nine deep into the series, Paige Tyler manages to make the story exciting, while keeping her readers in suspense until the very end. It’s a good thing Alyssa is working in supernatural crimes, because suddenly werewolves are not the only supernaturals in town.
