Aluring Author: Sylvia Day

Almost three years ago I got an email from someone who’d commented on my blog about one of my Black Lace short stories.

When I replied to to this person, I followed the link to her website, and discovered Sylvia Day. Sylvia was unpublished at the time, but after reading one of her manuscripts it was clear to me, she wouldn’t stay that way.

I was right. Sylvia Day has won awards, gotten rave reviews, and firmly entrenched herself into the hearts of romance readers everywhere.

Sybil commented in her introduction of me that she didn’t think any of my stories were historicals, (which is true) and to be honest, I rarely read historicals.

There are only two or three authors of that genre I will ever buy, and one of them is Sylvia Day. Her talent for storytelling shines through no matter what the sub-genre.
