When I sent out the email asking author’s about all things three. Lorie O’Clare informed me that she was currently writing a threesome novel and posting to her blog.
If you fall into the never read one column, are a fan of O’Clare’s or just want to go read some free fiction, this post is for you (well if you are over 18 and all that jazz… do I even need to say not work safe).
PARADISE ISLAND Part 1, Part 2 and the just posted Part 3
Since some of the first threesome stories I recall reading were Lorie’s were’s, I asked her to tell us a little about them.
As for werewolves doing threesomes…well they have done them :D.
In Pack Law (Ellora’s Cave Presents), Sophie had THREE werewolves. In In Her Soul we have group sex, and the ladies even get a bit friendly, but in all truth, those alpha males aren’t too keen on sharing their bitches. At least that is what they would howl to the world ;).
Check out the CARIBOO LUNEWULF series…we have brothers, Marc, Gabe and Stone. Gabe and Stone have fought and run pretty close to each other most of their lives. There is a bond between the two of them that make them unique, and a bit of a challenge to any bitch sniffing after them. Of course, Pam and Ali take on these two males, and learn and accept what they must do to have their mates.
In PURSUIT and CHALLENGE (now out in paperback with both stories in one book!!!!) Gabe and Stone share their bitches with each other. It is a bonding, a statement of trust. Both males are saying to the other that they would bleed and kill for the other. And as a symbol of their unending loyalty to the other, when they take their mate, they allow the other to fuck her, too.
It might sound all kinky to you. But trust me, its the real deal. Just go read them and find out!
**Lorie O’Clare has the book 4 in her Malta Werewolves coming out on March 23 as an ebook. It is called Forbidden Attraction. Click on the covers above for some of her were’s in print.**
I guess I should have said that Pack Law was the power of four. 😀 Which of course means the only thing better than two men at once, is having three at your beck and call.
Thanks for posting about my books, Sybil. It was way cool opening up your site and seeing one of my covers first thing.
I don’t think I’ll ever write a m/f/m treesome. I just don’t want to be the meat in a manwich. If anything, I’d do f/m/f but I doubt anyone but Bam would want to read it.
I’d read FMF. I didn’t actually realise so many readers would be put off by it until I started reading these Power of Three posts.
Just curious…Lorie’s books? Do they have romantic endings? The one thing I’m very wary about with 3+somes is that if there’s a romantic thread between two, the other participants can potentially undermine that. Or that there won’t be a romantic ending at all – which isn’t bad, I just like to be prepared. I love reading stories where the romance is strong even when there are more than two people involved.
All the ones I have read had a HEA. I do think she has one… pretty recent… that ended in a cliff hanger and the next book is already out.
But that was a RS not Paranormal.
Kat…
Every single book that I write has a strong romantic thread between the hero and heroine. And most definitely a HEA. I’ve read books that don’t have either, and they are very good, but I agree with you–if there isn’t a HEA, I want to know in advance. For me at least, a good romance is one where the guy and gal struggle through a relationship and end up bonded for life in the end. I know that isn’t always how life is, but that is how I like my books to be, and so how I write them.
With PACK LAW, which has been rewritten, expanded upon greatly, and comes out as LUNEWULF LAW in April, there are three men and a lady. And that is the meat of the story, how a couple in love come to terms with adding two other men in to their relationship. If you go to my website at http://www.lorieoclare.com and check out the coming soon page, you can read more about LUNEWULF LAW, and drool over the cover. 😉 There is also a trailer for LUNEWULF LAW that is to die for. Let me know what you think.
