I think book binging sneaks up on you when you don’t know it. No really! You see, I blame Susan Mallery. No really stay with me on this… you see I can’t ever remember when the Desires come out. So naturally I kept checking for the January’s to come out. While doing this I had to look through the harlequins that were out – yes?
Ok, ok it isn’t alllllll Susan Mallery’s fault, some of the blame belongs to Cheryl St. John as well. Because once The Ultimate Millionaire was out I needed The Lawman’s Bride, which happened to be on the same missed up order.
And I think I picked up a few more than I thought I was, add in a mix up with eHarlequin, and I seem to be swimming in them. Damn near drowning people!!! I should feel shame. Maybe deep down I do but prolly not. The really sad thing is these are only the ones I bought new. We aren’t counting a really nifty box I got in the mail of old Harlequins. We aren’t counting Heart of Ice or The Rawhide Man by Diana Palmer that I just finished reading – also came in the mail.
We aren’t counting Morgan, Sawyer or Gabe by Lori Foster that I for some reason thought I needed to buy even though I have the reissues (and are about to be re-reissued). But hey, who can resist really ugly men on the cover of a Temptation. No really go find the original cover for Sawyer… We aren’t counting Slade or Best-Kept Lies by Lisa Jackson. Not even mentioning the five HP. We won’t talk about Hot and Bothered by Jo Leigh or The Colorado Kid by Vicki Lewis Thompson. And the ones I want that aren’t out yet? That is a whole other post!
Le sigh… I can’t make up my mind if it is time for an intervention or a new bookshelf.
So on that note… NEW books Harlequin style
::blink:: oops
So what new Harlequin books have you bought lately? What are you looking forward to? As I have the greatest of taste try these links for Blackmailed Into Bed,Seduction, Westmoreland Style and Bound By Marriage because Harlequin is showing them as sold out.

From now until Monday at 11am CST – respond to any Harlequin post with a post date of 2/3/07 – 2/5/07 OR answer any question(s) on this post. All you have to do is put the title of the book you want or put ‘both’ and I will count you as entered.
**Winners will be announced today**
Have you read Diana Palmer’s The Princess Bride from the Virgin Brides miniseries, Silhouette Romance #1282, March ’98?
I have no idea how a copy of this book came to live on my shelf, but I think of you every time I see it. *g*
I stalk the eharlequin website every single month on the first day of the month so I can order the new releases. I always order Presents. This past month I ordered all of the Feb Presents (a rarity, I usually order about 4) I also ordered Amy Knupp’s The Boy Next Door. I’m still shopping the March releases but I’ll be placing my order soon 😉
The last Harlequin books I bought were in December as a Christmas present to myself. lol I got Mistletoe Kisses, an anthology, and Bad Influence by Kistin Hardy. January and February I was in the “no buy” zone because of the holidays. There’s quite a few that I plan to get this month. Please enter me for both books.
I pick up Blazes on a regular basis, the sex and the hot guys really do it for me!
I’d take either of the books you mentioned
I love the desires and the harlequin presents. I love Kate Walker (and I’d take The Ultimate Millionaire)
Ooops, posted in the wrong place.
I love Harlequin, and I’m really excited about the changes they’ve made. I can’t wait to read Bound To Happen, and to see what the new Desires are like.
To be honest, I haven’t made it through the last batch of Harlequins I bought in June. I wanted so many, then I just wasn’t in the mood! Actually, I may pick ’em up, I’m having a hard time finding something to read.
I’m totally excited to see another Ancient Rome historical. I want, I want!
I hadn’t seen the Warrior Wife before – yes, I’m going to have to TBB that one. And I love Cheryl St. John – she’s really sweet too. I glom all those dang Harlequin books at Borders too – it’s addictive.
Just so ya know, I bought Warrior Wife, The Lawman’s Bride, AND McKettrick’s Luck at lunch time today. It’s all your fault. 🙂
P.S. I’m excited to read them. LOL!
Ooooh, the three McKettrick HQN’s are wicked awesome! (Umm..I got ARCs) I think over the course of my entire reading life, LLM is my longest-enduring favorite.
(I’m trying to post this with my eyes closed so I don’t see anymore covers and get sucked into buying more. I just got a box from eHQ a few days ago. Too soon for another.)
ohhhhhh I need to go get McKettrick. YO I want ARCS! So not far shan.
And I haven’t read that Diana Palmer! I don’t think I even have it! I must go look. I made a list one day that I was going to post for people to poke at and mock.
Cuz I am nice like that….
