Kaitlyn‘s review of Mr. Wrong Number by Lynn Painter
Romantic Comedy published by Berkley 1 Mar 22

I don’t know how I became such a sucker for a cute rom com, but I’ve decided I’m no longer allowed to get in bed at nine and start one. Because then I’m up until one a.m., hell bent on finishing it, and my little analytical science brain is internally screaming “No, let him explain! It’s fine, forgive him, just let yourself be happy with him, dammit!!!”

Suffice to say, I really enjoyed this book. It was such a fun, light read – even if I was screaming at Olivia to forgive a certain someone and unnecessarily stressed about it. Olivia is bright, free-spirited, and a hot mess. I love it. Colin’s abs are disgusting, and I so don’t even want to talk about him. (Not me wishing for a roommate like Colin 😉) If you’re looking for a cute, quick read to lift your mood, this is the book for you.

Side note, somebody take my books away from me. I keep finishing them all in one sitting lately and I’m exhausted. 😅

Grade: A

Summary:

Bad luck has always followed Olivia Marshall…or maybe she’s just the screw-up her family thinks she is. But when a “What are you wearing?” text from a random wrong number turns into the hottest, most entertaining—albeit anonymous—relationship of her life, she thinks things might be on the upswing….

Colin Beck has always considered Olivia his best friend’s annoying little sister, but when she moves in with them after one of her worst runs of luck, he realizes she’s turned into an altogether different and sexier distraction. He’s sure he can keep his distance, until the moment he discovers she’s the irresistible Miss Misdial he’s been sort of sexting for weeks—and now he has to decide whether to turn the heat up or ghost her before things get messy.
