I love the first Grease. LOVED it. Totally believed the love story between Tony and Sandy.
Makes me feel ANCIENT that that movie came out in 1978.
Now I'll be singing all day! LOVE Grease! Might have to watch this afternoon. And I can follow up with Hairspray.
Love Grease too. Though it started a whole new round in high school of calling me Sandra Dee. LOL, didn't care for it at the time, but now I'd give anything to have those carefree days back! Will have to find a copy and watch it again soon. Such memories!
When I was little, I was obsessed with Olivia Newton John. After Grease came out, I cut the feet out of some black tights and stole my sister's candies. it wasn't until much, much later that I finally faced the reality that I was never, ever, going to be a skinny, small nosed blond chick. Not without a lot of help from Dr. 90210, anyway.
Needless to say, I've seen grease about 5000 times and still watch it whenever it's on cable.
Loved it, too. Talk about singing all day, my niece was into snd she and "they" would perform for us every time there was a family party or picnic. When my sister rented Grease for her, she had to buy it for her. SAhe danced and sang at the top of her lungs at our gatherings and for hours, every day, for something like 6 months. We sure knew that soundtrack well if we hadn't already, lol.
I amuse WAY the fuck too easy. Tis why everyone should lurve me.
