As a reader, I love a story where the man does the chasing. I can’t help it.
I love strong women, and I love it when a man isn’t scared of her strength.
We all want a hero, but in my mind, the hero doesn’t always have to be the big strong Alpha man, sometimes the hero is just a man who is strong enough, and confident enough, to accept the strength, the past , and the mistakes of the woman he loves.
I think the best heroes and heroines have flaws we can all understand.
Like Bethany in WATCH ME, my story in Kink that was just released.
She’s married, and loves her husband, but feels alone, and unattractive and a bit neglected.
Don’t we all feel that way at times?

I think that both men and women can feel alone, unattractive and neglected at times, that’s just human nature. The hardest part of maintaining a long term relationship, is tuning into each other’s needs and picking up on those moments, and caring enough to say and do the right thing to get thru that moment and on to the next.
Love your definition of a hero. Its the flaws that make people interesting. Who wants to read about perfect people? Too boring.
