9 out of 10 times I don’t agree with Mrs. Giggles reviews. Oddly enough I can still disagree and find her amusing.
Another blogger recently asked me a question that had me searching through some old articles and such in romanceland. I had forgotten how much I really loved giggles essays and romance posts.

Sybil, I feel exactly the same way abou a lot of Mrs G’s reviews, I just read them for the fun of it.
There’s been a few books she’s loved that I’ve loathed and vice versa, but her essays sure are great to read.

Her keepers are rarely hits for me but I enjoy her commentary. She was a voice of the readers long before the blogosphere took off.

She’s the queen of snarky, love her reviews. And I’ve read more than my share of books that received a really bad grade just to see if anything can be that bad.

Oh, I totally agree with you guys. I usually don’t agree with Mrs. G’s reviews either. Most of the time, I’ll look at a review of a book I really liked and find that she’s totally trashed it. But I do like her essays. There’re fun and entertaining for sure. Sometimes they have me laughing out loud.

She’s totally hit or miss for me. She appears to love Connie Brockway, and I don’t really understand the appeal, for example, but she’s snarky, and usually I agree with the general points she makes.
