REVIEW: Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez
Kaitlyn‘s review of Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez
Contemporary Romance published by Forever 11 Apr 23
This is my new favorite Abby Jimenez book. Sure, I wanted to shake Bri and Jacob every five seconds and yell at them to just tell each other truth, but I was also howling in laughter, crying, and all around having a great time. I knew by Chapter 3 I was a goner and would have to stay up late to finish this book in one sitting. It was just too good.

REVIEW: The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty
Kaitlyn‘s review of The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty

I really enjoyed this book. Amina’s dry wit is very entertaining. I absolutely love her character and how she struggles with balancing her love of the sea and piracy with motherhood.

This was a phenomenal Greek mythology retelling. It captivated me from the start and was really hard to put down.

Contemporary Romance published by Gallery Books 16 May 23
This was such an easy A+. I love everything about this book. Fizzy and Connor are some of my all-time favorite book characters. Seriously, Fizzy had me howling in laughter time and time again. Conner is literally every possible perfect trait rolled into one hot British DILF. Fizzy’s words, but I concur.
REVIEW: Beginning of Forever by Catherine Bybee
Veena’s review of Beginning of Forever (D’Angelos, Book 3) by Catherine Bybee
Contemporary Romance published by Montlake 27 Jun 23
I’d have given this book five stars because I absolutely loved traveling through Tuscany, tasting wine with Gio and Emma. The true gold here, however, is in the emotional connection and the beautiful relationship that develops between this couple. The friendships, the families all just add the cherry on top.
REVIEW: The First Move by Jenny Ireland
Stevie‘s review of The First Move by Jenny Ireland
Young Adult Romance published by Penguin 13 Apr 23
I played a fair bit of chess as a teenager, although it was one of those hobbies that lost out to new interests when I went to university. I dabbled in online board games in lockdown and could see why other people enjoyed the challenge, but it always felt too slow compared to the in-person version, especially given that I was playing against people who are sociable in 3D but less so over email. And that’s a rather lengthy explanation of why this book interested me. Beyond the heroine with disabilities part of the blurb, obviously.
REVIEW: Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross
Kaitlyn‘s review of Divine Rivals (Letters of Enchantment, Book 1) by Rebecca Ross
Romantic Fantasy published by Rebecca Ross 4 Apr 23
This book had no business being as good as it was. World War I vibes, but with gods and magic thrown in, I was completely enamored with every aspect. There’s also rivals to lovers, magical love letters, and awesome myths woven into the story. I didn’t want to put this down; it was so crazy good.
