As a scientist, I bought this book right when it came out, and then it sat on my cart for ages because I’m a fantasy girl through and through. A little mad at myself for not reading it sooner, because this book is phenomenal!

I gave each book either an A or A-, so on the whole I’d say this is a five-star series. The mysteries, puzzles, and games were all so much fun.

REVIEW: What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon

Historical Fiction Time Travel audiobook published by Audible 01 Mar 19
When my friend and I, on our way to Colorado, decided to listen to this audiobook, I didn’t have much hope for it, because we had just finished listening to a Nora Roberts book. For me, any book that follows Nora Roberts usually doesn’t stand much of a chance. And because I had never read/listened to Amy Harmon before, I really had my doubts.

Fantasy Romance published by Fiction & Fate Press 1 Aug 23
Excellent world building, multiple characters to fall in love with, awesome elemental magic system – this book has it all! I absolutely adore so many of the characters, so it’s hard to pick a favorite. The girl power is strong and there are some swoon-worthy guys as well. No spoilers, but I definitely fell in love with multiple men in this book.

Young Adult Fantasy published by Clarion Books 13 Apr 21 – 14 Jun 22
This series is pretty great, but Book 3, The Blood Traitor, is the clear winner. I didn’t really know anything about these books going into it and I think that made it even better. So I don’t want to give too much info for those who haven’t read it, but it’s definitely worth adding to your TBR.
