Has to be WonderWoman – loved her outfit with all the cool attachments for fighting evil. π
Batman – because he has no “super powers.” He’s a regular guy – albeit an incredibly wealthy guy who can buy fabulous toys. I also like the fact that he’s not a traditional “hero.” He’s a pissed off vigilante who gets into the crime fighting game to satisfy his own thirst for revenge. If that doesn’t scream anti-hero I’m not sure what does.
I also love crime noir stories and Gotham city is very noir.
I’m sort of torn. I’ve always been into comic books and superheros, and there are so many to choose from. I suppose if I really have to, I can whittle it down to one, though.
Wonder Woman rocks. She left a privileged life of luxury to serve humankind. Plus, she has a lasso! She rocks the one piece, and those boots are *fabulous*. A superhero who can kick ass AND accessorize. What’s not to love?
Well… people always look at me strangely when I say this, but…
Okay, it’s the Green Arrow. He’s a commie! And he’s got the kickass goatie! And his arrows are amazing. Boxing glove arrow? That… that rocks.
The Green Arrow also does not have superpowers. He is, in fact, a rip-off of Batman. He’s got an arrowcave, an arrowplane…
and he’s a billionaire, too! Like Bruce Wayne.
don’t enter me, because I’ve already go this on pre-order …. but it’s got to be Wonder Woman! Although I do have a really soft spot for Artemis, the amazon who was Wonder Woman for a little while, because she was just hard core. Oh! and Rogue (but not the movie version) because there’s just so much angst there (Gambit! Gambit!) I love Gambit, too — sneaky little thief charmer.
Now I’m just waiting for Wondy to hook up with Batman, because he’s my other favorite.
Okay, that was more than one.
Is it any wonder that someone with the nickname “bam” likes the boxing glove arrow? π
I can’t win, but my fav Super Hero is Wolverine.ΓΒ He’s so f’ing sexy, in a hirsute kind of way.
The Incredible Hulk. I loved watching that show!
Spider Man
Wolverine from X-Men. I love how he has those metal claws that he can use to fight. In the movies, with Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine, he was super sexy.
I have to say Wonder Woman is my favorite too. I sooo want that tiara!
I also like Batman and Wolverine. And I really like how they portrayed Green Arrow on “Smallville” this year.
Not a big Superman fan, though. He’s such a goody-goody all the time … almost too perfect really.
Gambit from the Xmen would be my choice. What’s not to like about a cajun hottie superhero. The guys accent alone makes me melt.
Ummm…tough. I’m going with Batman. Love all of his bat gadgets and angsty back story.
I used to have an enormous crush on Mighty Mouse when I was a wee thing. I wished and wished that I was that blonde mouse who he would always save. But I already picked Batman, and I probably shouldn’t tell people about that crush anyway.
You know another superhero show I used to love when I was a kid? Underdog. Like Mighty Mouse, but different. π
Well, Superman was my first love as far as super heroes go, so I’ll have to stay true to him! I mean, what can be better than fighting for truth, justice, and the American way? And there is that fantastic chest of his!
Superman does have arguably the best chest in the superhero world. Good hair, too. π
This is somewhat ironic, considering I just completed a Hero project for English, and one of the requirements was a cartoon character who was a hero. So I dont know if this counts, but I pick
Tony the Tiger.
I mean, look at what the guy has. He’s buff, always plays sports, has that smooth, rippling coat of caress-able fur. He isnt afraid to speak his mind and tell you what he thinks of frosted flakes, and the man has a catch phrase. Plus, international recognition. And, in my mind what makes him the most appealing, he tries to persuade us through a combination of healthy activity and cat-ish good looks that this sugar loaded product is the most amazing thing to ever hit your tongue.
You may not have heard of him but I’ve always liked the Creeper. He’s delightfully demented.
Tony the Tiger? That is too funny! If we were picking cartoon characters too, I’d probably have to go with the Scooby Doo gang. They have a mystery machine, Scooby snacks, and they always solve the big mystery. π
I haven’t heard of the Creeper. There are so many heroes and villains out there it’s hard to keep track of them all. I got the Marvel and DC Comics encyclopedias a few months ago and there are folks in there I never even dreamed of (lots of them with cheeesy names!).
Hmmm….I always had a soft spot for Grifter and Backlash. From WildC.A.T.S. and Stormwatch. Grifter…because he’s hot? He’s got that bad boy thing down. And Backlash, the psy-whip is sweet. And well, lots of other reasons.
Of course I love Gambit, which everyone knows since I named my cat after him. And Wolvie, because he’s got all that angst and power, yet he’s so great with Jubilee.
Most of my comic love is from the mid to late 90s, when I was really into them the most.
My fave is Triplicate Girl, one of the original members of the legion of Super Heroes (DC Comics)
Her power was to become three of herself so there is more of her to love π
I think Storm. The power to control the weather is something I would love to be able to do.
I like Storm too. And Rogue. And Mystique is fun when she’s being all blue and evil.
