Claire Cross is a new to me author (only read 2 of her books). So it has been interesting digging into her websites.
Yes I said websiteS. She has a historical alter ego, Claire Delacroix, which I haven’t read anything by (shocking I know!).
Anyone have any rec’s? 😉
There is an overview I send out to each author when they do a guest day. And on this I have a very bare 4 or 5 posts I request. Along with the posts (which are just suggestions) there are examples because many an author isn’t ‘plugged’ in or familiar with blogs.
And lets face it… I can be a touch confusing. No really!
It is always funny how people can read the same thing and come up with different things. In Claire’s case, she did something I have never seen before.
And well I admit it – I sqqquuueee’ed.
She did just about every example on the list. Of course, it helps if you have seen this email but if you haven’t, trust me, it is long. But it makes for an interesting day. And lets face it, you have to respect any author who will agree to guest on a reader blog with all you mean gurl bloggers out there.
Not me of course, cuz I the nice one. So stick around I have to say, even if you don’t like her books, the author is a trip. I seem be having a run on fun, amusing, smart assy authors lately. What do you think that means?
I really enjoyed All or Nothing and thought the knitting was such a great example of the female protagonist’s outlook on life. It was also a very romantic book.
I’m the opposite of you, Sybil — I’ve read a few of her Delacroix books, but nothing as Cross. I have most of her Cross books, but just haven’t been able to get to them, which is about 90% of my books because I have so darned many!
Anyway, Delacroix’s Jewels of Kinfairlie was a great series, The Beauty Bride, The Red Rose Bride, and The Snow White Bride. I enjoy all three very much!
I’m headed out to pull my Cross books today!!!

I have read some of her Delacroix books and loved them. I haven’t read any of the Claire Cross books but I am intrigued to do so after reading the review below.
I haven’t read any of Claire Cross or Claire Delacroix books…some more to be added to the TBR list!
Claire is one kewl lady!
