Kaitlyn‘s review of Where the Library Hides (Secrets of the Nile, Book 2) by Isabel Ibanez
Young Adult Historical Fantasy published by Wednesday Books 5 Nov 24
Since this is the second book in the series, I don’t want to give anything away, but I really enjoyed this story. If you like The Mummy, Death on the Nile, and mystery and Egyptian history, this duology is a must read.
There’re so many twists in both books that keep you on the edge of your seat. There’s a full cast of entertaining characters and the magic intertwined with the history is done so perfectly. Poor Inez, though, that girl just couldn’t catch a break.
I love getting to travel down the Nile, through ancient dig sites on the search for lost tombs, and wander the streets of Cairo and Alexandria. I need more Egyptian-based fantasy books now, because this is really awesome.
I’d definitely recommend this duology and totally wouldn’t mind reading more books in this world.
