Sandy M’s review of One Night with You (Fatal Series, Book 0.5) by Marie Force
Contemporary Romance published by HTJB, Inc 2 Jun 15

As much as I love Marie Force’s work, I’m not sure why it’s taken me all these years to read her Fatal series. Too many books, too little time is what I’m going with. Which is unfortunate, because I am loving every single storyline, character, and the love and romance between Nick and Sam as I glom this series.

Nick and Sam’s one-night stand, which was meant to be more after their meeting and their mind-blowing time together, was written five years after the first book in the series, Fatal Affair. For those fans who were right there at the beginning, they just heard about that wonderful night. For those late to the party like me, reading this prequel gives the start of the series so much more depth, when we see how these characters were affected when the truth is revealed about how and why their reconnection happens years later.

The love between Nick and Sam is legendary and magic. They both have their past issues, but everything fades away when they come together for the life they should have had all along. If you haven’t started this series, for whatever reason, take it from me and begin now. And keep reading until you’re through to the end, including the First Family series, which continues to follow all the wonderful characters Ms. Force has given romance readers. Totally worth your time!
