Kaitlyn‘s review of Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo
Fantasy published by Square Fish 15 Oct 18

Complete 180 from Shadow and Bone! The plot had me hooked from the beginning and I absolutely adored this duology.

A magical heist featuring some of the greatest characters I’ve ever read. Seriously, Kaz might just be the best mastermind of all time. He may have Aelin beat. 😳 I know, crazy, but the man (homeboy is 17 but he doesn’t act it) is a genius.

One of my favorite things about this duology is how time and time again it looks like everything is going to shit, the group is caught and everything is over. But then it’d be like HA HA JK, Kaz knew this was going to happen, everything is going down exactly like he planned, and he’s totally prepared for this. Kaz is great.

The rest of the crows are just as amazing. I love everyone in the group so much. So many of you told me this was your favorite found family and I wholeheartedly agree. Both of these books were an easy 5 stars for me. Read this duology if you haven’t yet, it’s so worth it!

Grade: A
