Would love some more details about the next book. And also, though I’ve scoured Delicious, I can’t find that reference you hinted at about the character who is in it from PA. Please tell me who it is????

I too would love to know more about her next book. What sort of research has Sherry done for her books?

As soon as I get off this computer, going to start reading Delicious. Love to know more about the next book, too.
Sorry I didn’t get around to answering any questions while I was at the B&N–frankly I had no idea what Sybil and Lawson were up to. I was like, why the heck are you guys here with a laptop and you are paying for internet access at a bookstore?!
Okay, Bev. Verity mentioned that someone had helped her out when she was down in the dumps and given her a necklace–at least I think it was a necklace. A young girl at the zoo. That was Gigi from PA, when she was maybe 13 or 14. I really wanted to put a bit more about it in there but every time I tried it always felt like an intrusion. But Verity and Gigi will meet again some day, in some other book.
The next book NOT QUITE A HUSBAND is only 1/4 done–if that–so I don’t know how much detail I can confidently give. It is set in 1897, and in the middle sections will feature a minor uprising against the British in what was then the Northwest Frontier of India, today Northwest Frontier Province of Pakistan, and where many people believe Osama bin Laden to be hiding. Here’s a quick bit about the uprising.
As for research I’m hitting GoogleBooks hard because there are so many books published around the turn of the century that Google had digitized, titles like “Risings on the North West Frontier,” “A Sportswoman in India,” “Telegraph and Travel: A Narrative of the Formation and Development of Telegraphic Communication Between England and India, Under the Orders of Her Majesty’s Government, with Incidental Notices of the Countries Traversed by the Lines.”
Sherry,

But will there be any chair legs abused?
