Erotic romance eBook short story published 26 Oct 07 by Ellora’s Cave

I’m just getting to some of the better treats.  This must have slipped to the bottom of my bag.  No wonder, since this little treat carries a bit more weight than the other quickie-treats I’ve gotten to lately.

Blurb:

Mason’s dark good looks and domineering personality give Kelly all sorts of forbidden fantasies that frighten her. When she agrees to help out at the community Halloween haunted house, she never expects to be tied to a bed, playing damsel in distress to Mason’s masked, whip-wielding villain.

Kelly can’t run away from Mason this time. He knows she’s fighting her sexual needs and he hopes that a few hours of playing out her fantasies with him will prove to her that bondage — and Mason — are nothing to fear.

Kelly and Mason have had a relationship building prior to the beginning of the story and I like how Moore builds on that relationship.  She gives us their history in a way that feels natural.  Their relationship has hit a stumbling block which is sexual and so it feels natural for the story to take a sexual turn.

Having the couple in a public situation feeds the tension because it limits their actions.  But, not too much.  They still have plenty of fun.  This is one of the better short stories i’ve read in a while.
