And your neck! I’m hungry!
We’ve got a marvelous prize pack of the three ARCs of Lynsay Sands‘ new Argenau Vampire books:
- The Accidental Vampire (Argeneau Vampires, Book 7)
- Vampires are Forever (Argeneau Vampires, Book 8 )
- Vampire, Interrupted (Argeneau Vampires, Book 9)
- Plus some other little goodies that Gwen apparently has been trying to steal from Syb. 😉
All you need to do to enter to win this fabuloso prize pack is comment about vampires on this post. What’s your favorite part of vampire lore? Favorite vampire movies? Favorite vampire hero? How realistic are vampires in fiction compared to what could happen in real life?
I might love someone forever if they comment about the changing myths about vampires over time and how that reflected the society that it came from. Of course that may be asking for a lot. . .
Be sure to comment on this post about vampires and a winner will be randomly selected to win the three ARCs and the goody bag of toys.
My favorite vampire movie was Queen of the Damned with the lucious Stuart Townsend. I miss he series Angel, I watched it faithfully. Love Sherrilyn Kenyon’s The Dark-Hunter series.
I can’t believe no one has mentioned Forever Knight, about Nick Knight the vampire Cop. All the vamps on Moonlight are babies (age wise). LaCroix would make Josef shudder in fear like a little school boy.
As for books, Early LKH, Susan Squires, JR Ward, Christine Feehan, Lynsay Sands…
Forever Knight hands down. Nick and LaCroix were so incredibly sexy and powerful.
As for books, early LKH, Susan Squires, JR Ward, Lynsay Sands, Kathryn Smith.
I’ve always loved vampires. I really don’t know why. I’m trying to think of a reason but I’ve been hooked on them for a long time. Well, I guess it can be safe to say that they’re very versatile. They can be everything, from the evil bad guy in nightmares to the knight in shining armor (or leather). I mean, you can’t really say the same for zombies, can you?
My favorite thing though, is how authors come up with cause of vampirism. Viruses, genetic mutation, the taint of the damned, etc. It always gets more and more interesting. I’ll never get enough.
I love all types of vamp books
Jr’s Brotherhood, Sherrilyn kenyon, Rene Lyons Templars to name a few. They are all different but great in their own way.
I always loved watching vampire movies. Faves are Interview with a Vampire and The Lost Boys. I just started reading vampire romances a couple of years ago. Love them.
Vampires were my first love in the ‘paranormal genre’. I can say that even after reading Interview With A Vampire and screaming at the so-called hero to just walk into the sun already.
I like the more dangerous ones – Jean Claude from the Blake series and yes, the series now blows but back when it was young. JC was enigmatic and mysterious and knowledgeable. Maybe that’s what it is, intellect. They know more because they have been around more.
So the story has to be either dark and moody or completely slapstick (MJD) anything in between annoys me.
