Bodine’s Bounty by Charlene Sands

I can’t find an official summary yet but from her blog there is this:

In the story, Bodine is a little older than the man here and more embittered by life, a bounty hunter by trade, but Bodine looks determined and rugged enough on this cover for me! I think the artist captured the essence of Emma well – she’s a young woman who’s run off on her own for the first time in her life. Our hero is secretly being paid by her protective grandmother to keep her unharmed and untouched.

Do go read the whole blog post if you haven’t, having read the book a while back I have to say I agree she started it out well.

Petticoats and Pistols
And you have prolly seen this at Petticoats and Pistols:

BODINE’S BOUNTY

Ironically, in my story the bounty hunter is going after his brother’s killer for vengeance, not money. But while on the mend from a bullet wound, BODINE takes on a high-paying job to secretly protect a runaway heiress, EMMA MARIE ROURKE, who has an agenda all her own.

Keep an eye out for this book, of course I am sure I will remind you later but still. No excerpt yet to post.

On a completely different note (sort of), go check out Pam Crook’s prostitution post at P&P if you haven’t. More info than you would ever want about the west and the world’s oldest profession.

I do wonder which two books Charlene Sands has that deal with Prostitution (mentioned in the comments)… I am pretty sure one is The Courting of Widow Shaw maybe the other is The Law and Kate Malone. Only two out of the five I have that would fit… unless it isn’t a HH.

Anyone know? Yeah it would have been simpler to email and ask… I swear I get distracted way too easy 🙂
