Book Coverec_sheedy_and_roan.jpgWe were first lucky enough to have E.C. Sheedy guest with us during Aug 2006 for a week of Brava Bad Boy Authors. At the time I didn’t read much Romantic Suspense and much of what I did was published by Brava. Although I have branched out a lil more lately… a touch… one can not live by paranormal alone.

No really.

E.C. Sheedy’s newest novel Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye comes out on September 25th. And oddly enough isn’t being sold on Amazon.com yet. I hope to have the review up today.  Here is the summary…

Fear…

She knew him only as the dark-eyed man, the one who put her in that dank basement. She was only nine years old when she stared into those eyes and understood that something unspeakable lived in them. Though she was saved at the last minute by an unlikely ally, she’s never forgotten that fear. And fear has not forgotten her…
Never…
Now the woman who rescued April from that living hell long ago has disappeared, and it’s no accident. Whoever came after her wants April—dead. April has one chance to save her guardian angel before it’s too late. But to do that, she’ll have to break the promise she swore she never would and contact the one man she knows she shouldn’t…
Dies…
Joe Worth’s horoscope said he was in for trouble, but the woman sitting in his office is the kind of trouble any guy would welcome—mile-long legs, blond hair, gorgeous face. She’s also scared. Very scared. Protecting people is Joe’s business, but this time it’s also personal: the woman April wants him to find is the mother who abandoned him. He can only say yes, and that could cost him. A stone-cold killer is out for vengeance—a man who will do anything to keep his dark, twisted past behind him. Anything.Read an excerpt here.

Book CoverAnd if you missed it, you can still pick up a copy of Without a Word. It was my first Romantic Suspense by E.C. and I very much enjoyed it. And it is fitting to say her next project will be in another Brava Bad Boy book set for 2008.

i would live for you…

Deep in the woods, a runner takes long strides, satisfied that at last, she’s on the right path. She’s done what she had to do, and she’ll make the best of her second chance. She’ll live by the motto on her t-shirt: Life is good. Only when the surprise visitor with the familiar face steps from the cover of tall trees, does she learn something else: Life is also short…

i would Die for you…

Camryn Bruce can’t believe her best friend has been brutally murdered. Now, Camryn is the guardian of her precious little girl, Kylie. To Camryn, Kylie is like a gift, the daughter she could never have. But other people want Kylie, too. And someone will do anything to get her–lie, cheat, steal, and worse. So much worse…

i would kill for you…

Dan Lambert may only have married Kylie’s mother to help her out, but that doesn’t change the love he feels for the little girl who has always called him “Daddy.” He won’t sell out on Kylie, and if that means getting into Camryn’s life, so be it. He hadn’t counted on the hunger she’d awaken in him, a passion he never thought he’d find again–a happiness that could be short-lived. Someone is waiting, watching…wanting. Someone whose dark passions will not be denied. And Dan’s protection may not be enough to stop a twisted killer from getting close enough to kill…
