The ever darling (even though she is mean to me) Caroline Linden will be guesting with us today!
AND today is the official release of her newest historical:
We have some great posts, a contest, a very thought out deep and meaningful Q&A but sadly no funny meeting Caroline Linden stories at RWA (that would be Anna 😉 ).
She I was lucky enough to meet me her (my god she is thin) in Dallas. In fact it was something of a herd of zebras… hmmm maybe we will have a post about that after all. LOL depending on how much of the party I remember. Hey! I wasn’t feeling well and was very well medicated. So go get the book if you haven’t yet and then come back.
We will chat, tis be fun. (Think of some hard questions to ask Mz Linden, trust me she likes it.)
Congratulations to Caroline!
Thanks, Maureen!
I’m still trying to think what thin person Sybil might have met, and thought was me, in Dallas…although perhaps she is just trying to kiss up…
I am sweetness and light, only speak the truth bes me.
The story of how these two met in Dallas is hysterically funny. You really must tell it, ladies.
I have been a big fan of Caroline’s since day one! I will definitely get this book *G*
Yes, it’s true, Gwen: we met whilst doing the Snoopy dance in the hotel fountain. Imagine, two people getting that urge at the same time!
(I have no idea what she’s talking about)
Aw, thanks, katiebabs! I hope you like it.
LOL I am pretty sure we first met in your hotel room with a bunch of zebra’s. I was in the corner giving Monica McCarty and Jami a hard time about something or other. What? I am a blogger tis what I do.
I think… or you answered the door maybe? But I am pretty sure that was Kristina.
Is it too late to ask a question? I am always curious if the author finds it more (or equally) challenging to write the hero or heroine? And Caroline, why is it that way for you? Thanks!
Hmm; interesting question, Allison. I usually find them equally challenging. Have to admit, I really like writing the guy’s point of view–my husband looks at me suspiciously when I say that, but I think it’s because, for me, the hero is such an important part of the book. If *I* don’t love him, how could anyone else?
