Touch of Texas by Tracy Garrett
Shelter From The Storm… A blizzard blows Texas Ranger Jake McCain to Rachel Hudson’s cabin and trouble is right behind him. He’s badly wounded. Taking care of him is the right thing to do, but she knows the local gossips won’t see it that way. Suddenly, everything Rachel’s fought for is at stake—and the past she’d hoped to escape looms over her future. Still and all, when Jake turns his dark gaze on her, all she wants is his strong, seductive touch…
A Woman To Call His Own …
Jake McCain has never stayed in one place. A home and a family aren’t for the likes of a man accustomed to the rough life of the trail. But when he sees the trouble she’s in, he can’t leave her behind. Not when her innocent kisses burn straight into his soul, and the sight of her smile is the only bounty he cares to collect…
ssssssqqqqqqqquuuuuuuueeeeeeeee
A western! A new author! A nifty debut zebra at a nifty price. Did I sssqqquuueee yet? Doesn’t come out until Oct. My question is why in the heck don’t I have this book yet? So not right. Now to just find time to read it.
You can read the excerpt here.
Why don’t you have this book yet? Because Zebra is really crappy about ARCs. Seriously, I have been actively reviewing for 8 years, and now work for a very large library system that gets ARCs. In that time I think I’ve seen 2 from Zebra. Jacob by Jacquelyn Frank and Cherry on Top by Kathleen Long. Seriously, that’s it.

Because you have all those other books that you haven’t read yet. This way you have time to read all those TBR books towering over 😉
You know wendy that is what I thought! Although I do a few more ARCs I am sure they do Jo Goodman. The other zebras I have are eARCs.
But I when I mentioned the lack of zebra ARCs to an editor from Kensington on Friday she seemed to think it wouldn’t be a problem so maybe they are going to do more? Or she had no clue what I was saying and was in awe anyone could talk that much in such a short amount of time.
Angie are you done yet?
For a new author and $3.99? This is on the TBB list.

Blizzards in Texas? Oh, yeah. Happens in the high plains every winter.
