HOW do you enter you ask? Well click on the ‘win (title name)’ above and it will take you to the post. Each contest post has a link to an excerpt. GO! READ! Then come back and comment and tell the author what cha think.
Really it is THAT easy! Hey it might not be for you. And that is okay. You can even tell the author that and why you think it wouldn’t work for you. They may give you info that will change your mind or not… the great thing about Shomi is the lines are blurry.
Wired or Moongazer might not be a book for you because it is in first person (note: I HATE first person and really enjoyed the book) but Driven isn’t in first person so maybe that will work for you. My point? Don’t let the manga cover scare you. Don’t let the idea that ‘these are just for young adults’ keep you away. Don’t let the different label lead you to believe this isn’t romance.
But most of all you can’t judge the Shomi lines by any one book or author because each book is so different, have different elements and mix different genres. So even if all three of these don’t catch your eye, keep an eye on Shomi because it has an eye on you. And the next book just might be THE best book of the year for you.
