Gwen’s review of Package Deal by Nikki Soarde
Contemporary erotic romance eBook published 13 Apr 07 Ellora’s Cave
This short ebook is available now on Ellora’s Cave. It’s a contemporary romance about a M/F/M threesome set in a Jamaica resort, and, briefly, Toronto. The premise is a husband and wife are recovering from losing to cancer the other member of their triad. The couple think a little fun in the sun at a swinger’s resort will help them heal and forget their lost lover. However, while there they meet a potential new third and things get complicated and very steamy.
Here’s what the author’s website says about the book:
Ben Jarvis is living a fantasy. He’s tall and tanned, strong and popular. He’s every man’s best buddy, a lady’s man and the manager of one of the Caribbean’s most luxurious resorts. This tropical paradise filled with care-free couples and beautiful, willing women has been quite effective at driving all memories of his ex-wife’s betrayal from his mind. Ben is content.
But when Tanner and Celeste arrive in response to his special “Anniversary Package” deal, everything changes.
They’re smart and funny and one of the sexiest couples Ben has ever met. The three of them begin to explore each other and Ben experiences some of the best sex of his life. He begins to fall in love, but the fact that these feelings are not only for a woman, but for another man tips his world on its end. He begins to question the very thing that defines him as a man—his sexuality.
But Ben can’t ignore his feelings, and he can’t just walk away. He must make a decision. He must decide what to protect. His carefully crafted image? Or his heart?
It surprised me how much I enjoyed this novella. The erotic scenes were blisteringly hot (I’ve still got my legs crossed tight). The emotional basis was believable and the character development was well done. I could have asked for snappier dialogue, but not everyone is Elmore Leonard. And have I mentioned how utterly smokin’ the sex scenes are?
If you like triads, and you want a short romp that is worth an hour or two, then pick this up. I promise you’ll enjoy it! (Now where is that old boyfriend’s number … He should be in for a booty call…)

hmmmm this looks good… I am pretty sure I have read her before. And this reminds me I need to finish my power of three posts!
This actually kind of appealed to me when I saw it promo’ed so I think I might give it a try.
I’ve noticed a common theme running through some of the EC covers these days, can anybody guess what it is? *g*
Was going to buy cuz the book cover is so hot, but decided not to because I wasn’t too fussed on the last book of hers that I read. May try it anyway, it’s only money right?
