I first emailed with Lisa Valdez regarding doing a guest author day for Patience about 20 years ago. Oh fine, not quite 20 years but you know they say the waiting is the hardest part.

Due to complications that come along with life it is unfortunate that Lisa, Cindy Hwang and Berkley have had to re-re-look at the date of publication for Patience. Yes… le gasp, le sigh, le all sorts of stuff… it made me gasp a few months ago when I heard it could happen – again.

Why did it happen, you ask? Or you guess? Or you diagnose on blogs/lj’s/messages boards? (As we readers often do when we have don’t have ‘answers’) Well keep an eye out for Lisa’s April Newsletter, which will be out this weekend. And I may have a little something to go along with a post this afternoon.

So let’s rewind, Lisa will be popping up here once a month, if not here at least on her site, until Patience is released. As soon as I know a date for publication, you will. And I will announce a coming soon for the date of her guest date, as well as it will be put on the schedule.

I can’t say I know what a trying time the last year or so has been for Lisa because I have never been in her place but I do know how overwhelming it can be when everything hits at once. I think we all know how hard it is to keep your head above water and keep everything, as well as everyone else together. As my personal solution is to crawl into bed and pull the covers over my head, Lisa Valdez has nothing but my support and respect. And I must send out a really big thank you to Cindy Hwang and Berkley for not giving up on Lisa, this book or this trilogy.

Because I really want to read it *g*. I kid but more on all that later. Until then… how about a reward for your patience…. lets say today around noon?
