The Legacy by Beth Williamson
Book Seven of the Malloy family series
When Noah Calhoun finds his place in the world, he discovers a woman who makes him whole.
Noah Calhoun always felt like an outsider in the Malloy family, even though he’d been legally adopted at age fifteen by Nicky, the only sister in the pack. After an accident nearly kills his father, Tyler, Noah decides to leave and find his own place in the world. Using the skills his ex-bounty hunter father taught him, Noah finds a job as a small town sheriff.
Rosalyn Benedict didn’t need a fresh-faced do-gooder sheriff trying to help her. She’d been surviving just fine on her own. Living on the streets since she was a child, Rosalyn was smarter, tougher and stronger than most people ever hope to be.
With her stubbornness and his pigheadedness, will Noah and Roslyn find that one place where they both belong?
Sadly yet another book that hasn’t appeared in my email. I know you feel sad for me. No excerpt yet… hint hint.
But something nifty I just noticed on Beth’s site is a free read! I haven’t read it yet and I am very tempted but I have two different contest due on the 10th. So back to reading with me. Do tell me if it is any good.
Excerpt should be going up soon. I did post one on my blog recently… http://myblog.bethwilliamson.com/?p=508
Oh the free read! The Trouble with Packer. That was a fun short story I did with my Yahoo group – they picked everything from the setting to the hero’s name. Then one of them got to be the heroine too. 🙂
It hasn’t appeared in my mailbox either. ROFL
