The Bounty by Beth Williamson
Book 1 of the Malloy family series
Nicky Malloy is on the run—from guilt, fear, and a murder charge. After three years, the notorious bounty hunter Tyler Calhoun catches up with the elusive lady outlaw. The intensity of their dislike for each other is only matched by the growing passion they cannot seem to control.
A loner by nature, a cold hard hunter by choice, Tyler fights his feelings for his prisoner the only way he knows how—by denying them. He’s not prepared for how deeply his feelings will run, or how hard it will be to hold her life in his hands.
Pursued by two hapless cowboys bent on taking Nicky in themselves, Nicky and Tyler are forced to turn to each other for aid, trust, and comfort as their journey progresses on its rocky road. Caught in a web of lies and murder, they hold on to each other as they travel to Wyoming to confront the man that brought them together. Tyler has to decide if his love for her is worth more than the bounty he was sent to find.
Rosie asked about Beth Williamson and if she was any good. The book I had recommended looking over if you had missed it was The Tribute. Honestly I haven’t bought it yet as I have the last two in the series to read. And it did not magically appear in my inbox. I hate it when that happens.
Beth has a great style of writing, which has resulted in more hits than misses for me. If you are looking to start the series at the top I do have a review for The Bounty. Small story short:
It is a Western! It is a road romance! Those two things are tough to find together, and I am glad to have Beth Williamson and e-books around. If you miss the Western genre, or wish to try a new author, I can recommend The Bounty. Its sequel, The Prize, is now available at Samhain with two more books in the series to follow in June and July. I hope they are just as good.
You can read the full review here.
You can purchase The Bounty in print or ebook. And you can find all of Beth Williamson’s books with Samhain here.
I so wanted to click on the review link but it keeps disappearing every time I hover my mouse over the words.

Great review. An erotic western! I think I might need this one.
I love the Malloy series!
The Bounty is still my favorite, but I think that’s because I was so excited to find a western reminiscent of the ones I loved before, and not a…watered down version. That probably makes no sense.
Anyway, if you like westerns, don’t miss them!
Shan ~ you’re sweet!! Thanks!
Yay! Thanks for the kudos, Syb. The Tribute hasn’t magically appeared in your inbox? Whyever not? Hmmm…. perhaps the book fairy needs to tell me what format she wants. 🙂
I know you’re waiting for The Devils on Horseback: Nate. ‘Tis done and through line edits now… am I tempting you yet?
BTW – the new layout is sweet. Luv me some purple.
I’m a Beth fan!! I also think The BOUNTY is probably my fave, but thats because I love kick Ass chics..and a outlaw heroine was fantastic. LOL
I love all of the Malloy books. LOL
