How to Abduct a Highland Lord by
Karen Hawkins
This is Karen’s first book with Pocket. I always think it is nifty to check out an author when they go to a new publisher. Now you may or may not know I have given Mz Hawkin’s last few books a pass since I ended my love affair with her books after Lady in Red. So I plan to blog about this one, as soon as I read it. But the fact the excerpts and first chapter amused me enough to pay for it, new. Speaks volumes, well for my cheap self at least.
Dangerous Games by Lora Leigh
I adored this book. And have a review coming for it. If you have tried her books in the past and didn’t like them because of ‘sharing’ or barbed things that skeeve you out. Give this one a look see.
Moon Awakening by Lucy Monroe
Historical wolves!
Natural Born Charmer by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Hardcover alert! So if that bothers you make note… it will be out in MM… uh not sure. If I find out I will let you know.
This is the last Chicago Stars series. No really, this time it is for real. At least she says so *g*. The book is a lot like This Heart of Mine, which I loved.
And Then He Kissed Her by Laura Lee Guhrke
Shockingly enough I want to read this! Lawson has a great review up. And I read the first chapter and was way excited. I think this will be a great read and has gotten some great buzz around blogland.
Beau Crusoe (Harlequin Historical Series) by Carla Kelly
The often talked about, hard to find, should be published more – Carla Kelly. The book should be bought on those reasons alone.
Without A Word by E.C. Sheedy
Excellent Romantic Suspense and one of the best Brava’s I have read in a while. Review to come but if you want one now, Dear Author has one up.
Lover Revealed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 4) by JR Ward
Do I even need to explain? LOL! If you haven’t yet, check the Black Dagger Brotherhood out. Sez I. But start with Dark Lover. If you have… hey The Cop’s Book is out!
The Tribute by Beth Williamson
Western! And a samhain ebook that will come out later in the year in print. But it is book 6 of the Malloy family, so if you haven’t started it or a stickler for that type of thing start with The Bounty.
Did I meantion the series is western? No? Well really… it is worth taking a look at for that alone. I have been told this stands alone fine. So if you check it out let me know.
So tell me… what are your don’t miss… take a second look… books for March?
Great list, I have read three of them so far, and would add Shannon Butcher’s No Regrets, JD Robb’s, Innocent in Death, and Kim Harrison’s new release (which I have totally blanked out).
The ‘blackdragger brotherhood?’ Was that a Freudian slip?
LOL well I do worry it is gonna drag out too long but no just a typo. And a result of fuck it, I posted, sure it needs edits but must.get.food.
Thanks for the heads up though.
Hey Cathy
I have the Harrison but… shit it is a woman in great boots walking away so all you see is her back. And it is Hardcover. And… shit. I can’t member either.
I would love to read Robb but the amount of them scare me. Butcher looked interesting but I haven’t picked it up really.
I’ve got the Williamson book! I read the first 5 books last month and am eager for Brett’s book. Talking with the author, I know that Noah gets his book and the would be hired gun from Trevor’s book, Kincaid, will get his book some time in the future too. I got a “maybe” when I asked about little Malcolm and if he gets his own story. 🙂
I have 7 of these, read 6, with Beau Crusoe being the only one still in my TBR. Beth Williamson, I like westerns but somehow haven’t gotten these yet. I haven’t really read any reviews either. Got links or any info?
