Why do you have a group blog? What do you feel Allure Authors has to offer the reader encourage them to make you a daily stop?
We put together a group blog as a means to communicate with readers and other authors. Since we all have our own blogs, a group blog allows us to post once a week.
It seems to have been a pretty amazing year for all of you. What project are you or were you most excited about that has signed in the past year?
I’m so super excited that I just signed with NAL. Here’s the story I’m working on for them. Tentative release date, March 08! I’m also really excited that my story, Panther’s Pleasure was picked for the September Season of Seduction Cavemen anthology for Ellora’s Cave.
How do you feel you have benefited from Allure Authors?
My fellow Allure authors are strong, smart, ambitious women and it’s an honor to be associated with them. We’re all there for each other, for good days and bad.
What is the biggest mistake you think an author can do blogwise?
I don’t think an author should drone on endlessly about themselves/releases on their blog. I like a nice mix of personal and professional.
Have your views of the Internet, blogs and or websites changed in the past year? How?
With all the new blogs popping up I just can’t keep up with it anymore. I love reading them but it really takes away from my writing time.
What is your must see tv daily blog stop?
The Good, The Bad and the Unread, of course!!
What is your favorite curse word?
Bastard!!

I have to admit to being a bit partial to the word Bastard as well!! It is however used in different connotations down here that don’t always go down the same way in other parts of the world!!

Hi Amy S. Thank you for your kind words regarding The Hot LIne. I’m absolutely having such a wonderful time with these characters.
Lee-We just got through a snow storm so if I could vacation anywhere it would be somewhere warm. Last year we all went to California and I loved it. I’d love to go back there with the family.
Hi Cathy–My daughter and I watched Toy Story last night. She was three the last time she saw it, and my husband thought it would be fun to rent and watch again. He ended up hanging with my son and his friend and watching basketball while Allison and I watched it. It was great.
Hi Cheri–Have you ever seen the movie, The Hot Chick,(I think that’s the title) with Rob Schneider. That’s when the idea for Lover’s Locket came to me.
Amy S–Sometimes names just pop right into my head because it fits the character, other times I look through a baby names book.
