Both Bam and Mrs. Giggles have reviewed Micah.
I haven’t read it though 🙁 She lost me around book #2, methinks.
Mrs Giggle’s annhilation (sp?) of Micah was hilarious, if a little personal at times, but hey she made me nearly cry with laughter *g*
I’m suprirsed Mrs. GIggles didn’t get out the gas can and match while she was at it. Course by the time she got done, there wasn’t much left. 😯
MB: no hadn’t read it but have now 😉
KS: I would say that LKH sort of invited it in… I mean what do you expect when you tell people characters are based on people you are fucking?
CS: true but if the book really sucks that much, it sucks more it is number one and I think it was/is? in the top ten at NYT. And now people will buy it to see if it is all that bad.
I read Bam’s review of Micah and couldn’t stop laughing. Now, I’m scared I might pick it up one day just to have a post like Bam’s. But then, she and Mrs. G are originals!
I have Devil in Winter but should read the Autumn one first and I’ll try to keep my dignity with only a mini-SQUEEE about JR Ward.
Do you think the fact that Micah is number one means there are many people who say they refuse to read the book but then go out and buy it. I’m beginning to think there are some people protesting too much.
CindyS
LKH lost me after I read Narcissus in Chains, because I felt like she destroyed all of Anita’s integrity both as a character and a person. It made me so sad because I enjoyed the early books, but now I’d rather roll up my $$ and smoke them than give it to her for that poorly written pap. I flicked through Micah at Borders out of curiousity, but nothing’s changed. I was torn between laughing and sadly shaking my head.
Um – Cindy – ah – don’t you have another Kleypas to read first?
