After reading Over Hexed, I have been anxiously awaiting this sequel. I mean I was actually stalking Border's waiting for this book to be on the shelves. Sad, I know. But while I was excited for this book to come out I was also just a wee bit nervous because I loved the first one and I was really hoping that I wouldn't be disappointed that this one wouldn't measure up. Fortunately, not only did this book measure up but, to me, it surpassed my expectations.

As you all know, I love the funnay stuff. So a couple of years ago when a friend showed me one of Ms Thompson's books, I said sure I'll give her a try. I am so glad I did. I have read all of her Nerd books and have been trying to locate as many of her backlists books as I can find. It's a pretty funny sight to see a grown woman at a flea market getting a little excited when she locates one.

This is the second novel I have read by Barbara Freethy and despite the slow, very slow start and amnesia plot I was very happy to have Silent Fall to start when I closed this book. Sarah Tucker doesn't know who she is, that she had a baby or why in the world she would have left a perfect man like Jake Sanders.
