REVIEW: All Gowned Up by Jen Haymore

Sandy M’s review of All Gowned Up by Jen Haymore
Historical Young Adult published by Entangled Teen 3 Feb 25

I began reading Jennifer Haymore back in 2009, and I loved each book I read. I began to have some issues with historical romance several years back, and Ms. Haymore is one I read to get through that barrier. So with this newest release, I thought I’d try again, even though it’s a young adult story.

REVIEW: Blood Moon by Sandra Brown

Sandy M’s review of Blood Moon by Sandra Brown
Romantic Suspense published by Grand Central Publishing 4 Mar 25

What I love about Sandra Brown’s books is, of course, the unexpected romance between characters who would otherwise never come together, but the next best thing in her stories? The unexpected endings, something the reader would never guess and be surprised ten-fold when all is finally revealed. Blood Moon is no exception when all is said and done, so don’t even try to figure it all out as you read. You’ll never come close to guessing what actually takes place.

REVIEW: Red Rising Series by Pierce Brown

Kaitlyn‘s review of Red Rising Series by Pierce Brown
Fantasy Adventure published by Del Rey 28 Jan 14 – 25 Jul 23

If you had told me when I first started reading Red Rising that this series would have some of the most beautifully written lines I’ve ever seen and have me in tears multiple times I’d have laughed in your face and said “have you seen the sh!t that comes out of these boy’s mouths, especially that Sevro clown? Yeah, nice try.” I definitely wouldn’t have believed Sevro would become one of my favorite characters too. But here we are, things came a long way from book one.

REVIEW: Eternal Magic by Alexandra Ivy

Veena’s review of Eternal Magic (Magic for Hire, Book 3) by Alexandra Ivy
Romantic Suspense published by Lyrical Press 28 Feb 25

After reading the first two books in the series, I was on tenterhooks waiting for Maya’s story, which now surpasses my expectations and gives us an exciting finish to the trilogy – though, perhaps, the author isn’t done with this world and there are more stories to tell, if the supporting characters have their say.

REVIEW: Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros

Sandy M’s review of Onyx Storm (Empyrean, Book 3) by Rebecca Yarros
Fantasy Romance published by Entangled: Red Tower Books 21 Jan 25

Onyx Storm, the third book in Yarros’ Empyrean series, is another nailbiter with twists and turns you don’t see coming until they’re right on top of both you and the characters. Violet and Xaden, along with all the other players we’ve come to love, are preparing for war. It’s a race against time, and no one knows if there’s a solution to be had for peace – something they’ve not known for quite some time.
