REVIEW: Vanishing Hour by Laura Griffin
Sandy M’s review of Vanishing Hour by Laura Griffin
Romantic Suspense published by Berkley 25 Oct 22
It’s been quite a while since I’ve read Laura Giffin. Only because of time, not enough of that commodity in a day, week, month, year to read everything I want! I read a few of her Tracers series way back, and when I discovered Vanishing Hour, a new standalone, I figured it was time to read her once again. I’m so very glad I did; I enjoyed this story immensely.
REVIEW: Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson
Kaitlyn‘s review of Dance of Thieves (Dance of Thieves, Book 1) by Mary E. Pearson
Young Adult Adventure published by Henry Holt & Co. 7 Aug 18
Overall, I enjoyed this story. The world building in the beginning is intense and a little slow. It took me a minute to understand everything, but after about ten chapters, I really got into it.

REVIEW: Man of Ice by Diana Palmer
Sandy M’s review of Man of Ice (Maggie’s Dad, Book 2) by Diana Palmer
Contemporary Romance Audiobook published by Brilliance Audio 13 Aug 13
For the last number of years I’ve given up my radio in the car and have been listening to audiobooks instead. So whenever I find a great deal at a book sale, I usually pick up two or three to have plenty in the car as I travel around. One of those is Diana Palmer’s Man of Ice. Now, I’ve read/listened to only one other book by this author (no idea which one that was at this point), and after this particular audio, I realize now why I haven’t bothered with any others by her.
REVIEW: Something in the Heir by Suzanne Enoch
Veena’s review of Something in the Heir by Suzanne Enoch
Historical Romance published by St. Martins Griffin 20 Sep 22
What a romp this book turned out to be. William and Emmeline turned their friendship into a marriage of convenience, when she needed to marry in order to keep her house and he wanted a political career. If William ever wanted something more with Emmeline, a disastrous wedding night soon put paid to that, leaving them as a somewhat contented married couple – more friends than anything else.
REVIEW: Guild Boss by Jayne Castle
Veena’s review of Guild Boss (Harmony, Book 14) by Jayne Castle
Paranormal Romance published by Berkley 11 Nov 21
I absolutely enjoy this series. I love the tongue -in-cheek twist on all things earth with a play on medieval customs that have long died out in our modern times. It was great to re-visit this world after a long gap, so I’m glad to see the series continue. Illusion Town for the Las Vegas-like setting of the book is just the icing on the cake. read more…

Kaitlyn‘s review of Spells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young
Paranormal Romance published by Dell 27 Sep 22
Spells for Forgetting is Adrienne Young’s first adult novel, and it couldn’t be more perfect for fall! If you already love Young’s other books (guilty), you’ll find yourself mesmerized by this one as well.

REVIEW: When It Falls Apart by Catherine Bybee
Veena’s review of When It Falls Apart (The D’Angelos, Book 1) by Catherine Bybee
Contemporary Romance published by Montlake 21 Jun 22
This is a whole new side of Catherine Bybee, and I have to say that I really like it. The story is real, rich, emotional, messy with an absolutely delightful cast of characters that I’m looking forward to getting to know better as the series progresses.
REVIEW: Go Hex Yourself by Jessica Clare
Kaitlyn‘s review of Go Hex Yourself (Hex, Book 1) by Jessica Clare
Paranormal Romance published by Berkley 19 Apr 22
If you don’t analyze this too closely, it’s a pretty fun witchy read, perfect for fall. At times I was simultaneously cringing and entertained. It’s a very fast-paced read that was predictable, but also lovable.
