REVIEW: Wisteria by Adalyn Grace

Kaitlyn‘s review of Wisteria (Belladonna, Book 3) by Adalyn Grace
Historical Gothic Romance published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers 20 Aug 24

This book is PERFECTION. I love everything about it. I wasn’t sure I would like Signa no longer being the main character, but Blythe is a rockstar. I don’t want to say too much, this being the third and final book in the series, but Blythe is everything.

REVIEW: A Dash of Scot by Eliza Knight

Sandy M’s review of A Dash of Scot (Distinguished Scots, Book 2) by Eliza Knight
Historical Romance published by Knight Media 13 Aug 24

This is my first book by Eliza Knight. From the outside, the title to the cover, I liked the idea of this book. Even once I started reading, enjoying the characters and initially their plight, I became invested. But my investment didn’t reveal any more results once Poppy and Dougal met up again a year after their stolen time together.

REVIEW: Apprentice to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer

Kaitlyn‘s review of Apprentice to the Villain (Assistant to the Villain, Book 2) by Hannah Nicole Maehrer
Fantasy Romance published by Entangled: Red Tower Books 6 Aug 24

If you loved the first book in this series, you’ll adore this one just as much. This is a highly amusing adventure with some of the best characters. I love how we get such a closer look at everyone. I’m obsessed with every side character. Hannah, you had better not harm a single one of them. I will riot.

REVIEW: Rally by Devney Perry

Sandy M’s review of Rally (Treasure State Wildcats, Book 3) by Devney Perry
Contemporary Romance published by Devney Perry 6 Aug 24

I have to admit when I discovered this book is about one of the Treasure State Wildcats students, I was a bit wary. The older I get anymore, the more a lot of younger characters don’t work for me. Even though my angst and other youthful whatnot was years ago, I don’t necessarily want to live it again through anyone else – even my romance heroes and heroines. Fortunately, at least for me, Devney Perry is so very good at her craft.

REVIEW: Alone with You by Aly Martinez

Sandy M’s review of Alone with You by Aly Martinez
Contemporary Romance published by Aly Martinez 11 Aug 24

Aly Martinez never fails to punch you in the solar plexus with every emotion we can experience, then break your heart, and eventually weave everything back together, leaving you wrung out but undeniably happy. The first chapter in this book starts that journey in the most heart-wrenching way and doesn’t let up until your very last heartstring is pulled. Truett and Gwen have been through an unimaginable ride, and going along with them is everything a romance reader would want in such a story.

REVIEW: War of Lost Hearts Series by Carissa Broadbent

Kaitlyn‘s review of Daughter of No Worlds (War of Lost Hearts, Book 1) by Carissa Broadbent
Romantic Fantasy published by Cora Broadbent 7 Jan 20 – 10 Feb 20

The War of Lost Hearts trilogy is a literary masterpiece and one of the best series I’ve ever read. The plot, the characters, the twists, the tension, the politics, it’s all PERFECT. Tisaanah is an incredible MC and Max is in my top five book boyfriends for sure. He can easily hold his own against the likes of Rowan and Rhysand.
