I thought that Adele Ashworth was going to do a trilogy in the land of Winter Garden. It turns out Mz. Ashworth is only THINKING about doing a trilogy and at this moment doesn’t really think it will happen.

BUT there is A Notorious Proposition, which will be a sequel of sorts and will be on the shelves in April 2008. And there is a chance Avon will be reissuing Wintergarden. That would rock since it is out of print and hard to find.

I asked Adele what the book is going to be about:

Okay, in a nutshell, it’s about Garrett Burke, Marquess of Rye who buys the Rothebury estate (from WG) and Lady Ivy Wentworth, who had a tryst two years before, getting together to investigate the disappearance of Benedict Sharon (the former Baron of Rothebury’s brother) and the Martello diamonds he had on his person when he disappeared in WG. Of course she doesn’t know Garrett is the marquess. She’s asked by the Marquess of Rye (whom she thinks she’s never met) to investigate the house. She meets up with Garrett again, sparks fly… you know the rest.

I know that’s not much, but it’s a very complicated tale. 🙂

sounds very interesting… can’t wait…. I think I am liking the idea of one sequel vs a full trilogy… not sure at first I was way sad guess only time will tell
