Who was the blogger who just loved, loved, loved Tara Janzen’s “Crazy” series? Are the two new books, On the Loose (Nov 2007) and Cutting Loose (Dec 2007 – cover goes oh so well with the blog don’t cha think?), apart of the ‘crazy’ books or a spin off?
I had thought it was Tara Marie who had lots of posts about the series but nope only saw one post that mentioned the books on her blog. I know someone lurved it muchly. I haven’t started it yet and was wondering if I could read On The Loose first.
I really have no issue reading out of order in most cases. And the look and titles are completely different but I could swear the author said they were all connected. But really… my memory is shit and I could be wrong.
Anyone have any clue why in the world I own three copies of Lori Foster’s Morgan. All the same Temptation cover even. LOL so really I guess I have four copies because I have the two books that have all the stories in it. Was I suppose to send one (or two) to someone?
There was a poster… I think a message board poster who some times comments on blogs… who collects old Harlequin Presents. I even recall a list of a few authors…
Who was this? Is it you? tell tell tell
Yes I am putting books away (sort of) why do you ask?
It’s the wonderful Kristie who LURVES Tara Janzen.
Good to know the technorati “search this blog” thingy works ๐
As to why you would have 3+ of the same Foster books, I’m clueless, but I wont go there ๐ I have several copies of Eloisa James’ Fool for Love, Duchess in Love and A Wild Pursuit because when I couldn’t find my copies I bought more.
Yep – I think it might have been me. And the answer is On the Loose and Cutting Loose are spin offs. They aren’t the Steele Street gang but rather other law enforcement types they worked with so some of the heros/heroines from the Crazy books might make an appearance.
I have an ARC of On the Loose I got from Tara Janzen in Dallas *huge smug and annoying grin*, but haven’t dived into it yet.
Kristie (J)
May I ask? Do you know Cutting Loose is about which character?
well I’m a Janzen fan. I got a free “Crazy” book at RT this year, then went out and bought the rest in the series.
Love her voice, and her style. Modern without being too annoyingly hip. And she writes interesting heroines, not ciphers for the hero to be with.
I thought the first three or four “Crazy” books were fantastic and the last 2 well worth reading, but I would have liked a bit more to the Skeeter/Dylan story. I heart Skeeter!
So I’m really interested in knowing how the new series pans out. The first book is about Smith and Honey, I believe, the love story that begain in the last Crazy book.
I really liked her Crazy series. Like Lynne I would have liked more to the Skeeter/Dylan story also.
Oh yeah! Now I remember one was suppose to go to tara marie and one to wendy. Silly me! Your address is still the same right?
๐ I do have Winderrrrr…something or other I need to send to you too. windflower? windfire? hell old hard to find book you wanted by those london peeps
Mary B: I’m not sure who the hero of Cutting Loose is. I haven’t read On The Loose yet. But the hero of OTL is C.Smith Ryder and the heroine is Honey York (now doesn’t that sound like a James Bond kind of name!)
I liked the first couple Crazy books (even though the heroine in book one was slightly TSTL) but overall wasn’t very impressed with the series. Although..you lurrrved the Lisa Marie Rice books and I wasn’t over the moon about them, so you should prolly ignore me. ๐
