Thank you for having me here today to talk about my newest release, Lean On Me.
I write a lot of romantic suspense. I love when buildings explode, cars crash, gunfire rings out. There’s something about the adrenaline rush of all that that keeps me reading.
But Lean On Me is not romantic suspense. The adrenaline rush comes from the energy zapping between Cassidy and Mitch, the hero and heroine. They knew each other years ago in high school. He had a crush on her, but she didn’t know. She left town to chase her dreams and is back after a string of bad luck. Regardless of their shared past, they both recognize attraction when it hits them.
When Cassidy sees Mitch:
She turned and stared into a dark gray T-shirt straining against a firm, broad chest. Her gaze wandered up and over an open plaid shirt and a set of impressive shoulders underneath. Then she got to the face and the smile with the sexy cheek dimple.
Sweet Lord.
When Mitch sees Cassidy:
It took all of two seconds to spy Cassidy, huddled alone in a slim-fitting sweater and matching jeans as she fingered the petals of the dark purple mums. Long golden-blond hair with bangs brushed against her forehead. Pale smooth skin and big brown eyes. Slightly softer and less muscular than when he’d known her all those years ago but still with the high cheekbones that could stop his breath.
Who needs gunfire?

I love that first glance, breath held, sweaty palms, heart pounding moment. Nah, no bullets or guns needed. when you get that first moment right, it IS explosive. what i love best in your books is the banter between the couple. I find myself grinning from ear to ear and wanting to turn to the person closest to me and say, listen to this!! can’t wait to read this book.
I have to say I do the same thing the turn to someone and read part of ur books to them as well I love that this isnt just your everyday love story but one that started out as kids and went from there its been on my wishlist since i first read the blurb and I cant wait to read this
