REVIEW: Book of the Month by Jennifer Probst

Veena’s review of Book of the Month by Jennifer Probst
Contemporary Romance published by Blue Box Press 22 Oct 24

What an interesting theme for a love story.  Aspen Lourde wrote a book about her heartbreak and became an insta success.  Despite writing a couple of excellent books subsequently, success eludes her. Could it be that she needs another heartbreak in her personal life to write her next bestseller? Who better to break her heart than the local bad boy, who’s broken all the local women’s hearts in the little town where she’s spending her summer.

REVIEW: The Fullness of Time by Jeff High

Sandy M’s review of The Fullness of Time (Watervalley, Tennessee, Book 4) by Jeff High
Contemporary Fiction published by Jeff High 26 Mar 19

I read the first book in this series back when it released in 2013. I finished the next two books, and then waited to get my hands on this fourth one. Somehow, though, once I had it ready to go, I apparently got sidetracked for quite a while. I’m just now getting to it a number of years later. It’s okay, however, because I got what I needed from this series and its characters just when I was supposed to.

REVIEW: Every Day of My Life by Lynn Kurland

Sandy M’s review of Every Day of My Life by Lynn Kurland
Time Travel Romance published by Kurland Book Productions 20 Sep 24

It’s been a while since I’ve read Lynn Kurland. I’ve been telling myself I want to get back into time travel, one of my favorite subgenres of romance. The last one I tried didn’t work for me, so when I saw Ms. Kurland published this book last month, I jumped at the chance to get lost in a really great read. And that’s definitely what it is. Her writing is a good as ever, and despite a few hiccups, I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

REVIEW: Night of the Witch by Sara Raasch & Beth Reavis

Kaitlyn‘s review of Night of the Witch, (Witch & Hunter, Book 1) by Sara Raasch & Beth Reavis
Paranormal Romance published by Sourcebooks Fire 3 Oct 23

This story weaves the German witch hunts in the 1500s and the Roman empire’s influence over Europe with fantastical elements. It is such a cool concept, and I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and setting. It’s Serpent and Dove vibes, but German instead of French.

REVIEW: A Stone in Time by Kim Allred

Sandy M’s review of A Stone in Time (Mordha Stone Chronicles, Book 1) by Kim Allred
Time Travel Romance published by Storm Coast Publisher 2 May 18

I’d been thinking for some time about getting back to time travel romance, one my early genre loves. It’s been a while, since I got sidetracked with new romantic suspense authors over the last several years. So when this series popped up on my radar, I thought it might be a great place to start again.
