It’s time to set up his nursery and the love of his life, Daphne, is out of his reach, so he might as well find out who this lovely lady is and engage.
Hoping against hope that Ashton didn’t recognize her, Daphne continues her campaign to win her fair love and tries to figure out ways she’s going to explain her game of musical bedrooms and consequences to her beloved. Though being his best friend’s sister-in-law has kept Daphne safe from Ashton, now that he’s had the cherry, so to speak, he’s determined to win her for his duchess. This is is a cute, entirely predictable novella that I thoroughly enjoyed as a light respite from a rough day.
