Oh, we have a treat for you today! Carolyn Jewel was kind enough to autograph her My Immortal series, plus a copy of the first book in her Seducing the Scoundrels series, for us when we met up with her in Anaheim at the RWA conference. So it just may be your lucky day to grab a nice handful of books!
Included are the following:
My Wicked Enemy
My Forbidden Desire
My Immortal Assassin
My Dangerous Pleasure
Not Wicked Enough
What paranormal romances have you been reading lately? Any you couldn’t put down? A debut author blow you away with something new? Or re-reading an old favorite because it’s just that good? Let me know!
I read earlier this year “So Still the Night” by Kim Lenox. I have a couple of paranormals written by Maureen Child that are on my list to read this year.
I really loved Shawntelle Madison’s debut “Coveted.”
I’m a bit late but I have just read Forever and a Day by Jill Shalvis and went back to the beginning of her Lucky Harbor series and I guess she is a keeper.
I’m working my way through the Black Daggerhood Series and the Night Huntress series. I really like Cat and Bones together. They make a great team and even their arguments are entertaining!
No paranormal right now. I did re-read Lisa Kleypas recent books about Washington for her new release Dream Lake. I’m usually only into historical romance but she is changing my tastes. May need to branch into more modern books!
My Blog
I started reading paranormal about 2 yrs agao and did read My Wicked Enemy but can’t find that book now. I have some books missing that I think were taken without my permission by my son’s girlfriends. They were packed tight on the shelves I had built and now lots of room where books are missing. I don’t lend my books to just anyone and did not lend any out recently. Darn it, this makes me mad.
I would love to win this set and complete the series and begin another.
Just started reading Survival by A.M. Hargrove but can’t remember the last one I read and it was last week or two ago that I read it. lol I will say it is just Old Timers.. I have been an avid reader for over 60 yrs and now that I am retired I read lots and lots of books.
Awesome! And generous! I’ve so enjoyed reading a trilogy that is all out back to back. i’m doing that right now with Tessa Dare’s Spindal Cove series. Well, I thought they all out but its more than a trilogy and couldn’t wait to start. I too started on Marie Treanor’s Awakened By Blood series. A Scotish Vampire hero!!! I love new debut authors and looking forward to Victoria Roberts debut and first in her Bad Boys in Kilts book, TEMPTATION IN A KILT. Its out September from Sourcebooks.

The last paranormal I read was Wicked Business by Janet Evanovich. When I saw the book it reminded me of how much I had enjoyed reading her Stephanie Plum books years ago and I actually picked it up on a whim.
When I read the first few lines of the first chapter and Lizz says “my breast measure more than my waist so I’m a happy camper” I knew I was hooked! I had forgotten how much I enjoyed reading a light hearted book full of whimsey and it was a great summer week-end read!

I love Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changeling series and Guild Hunter series. They’re some of my go-to books when I just want to reread a favorite. Also Keri Arthur’s books, Christine Warren’s Others, Mary Jo Putney’s historical paranormals (adult and YA), and many others. Leaning more toward the urban fantasy side, I just finished Blade Song by J.C. Daniels (aka Shiloh Walker). Excellent!
I’m reading Dream Lake by Lisa Kleypas. While LK considers the book mystical realism, I think it’s a paranormal.
It’s more urban fantasy than paranormal romance, but I just finished Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews. I completely love that book! It brought me out of my reading funk that I’ve been having since the end of May.
Im re-reading Jeanine Frost’s Night Huntress books. God I love Bones! I even got my husband to read it
!
The Lords of the Underworld series.
