Hi Sybil. I am/lots of us are here. You are not alone. But you are also none the wiser (yet) as I do not have the answers you seek. Sorry…. (slinks away as quickly and quietly…)
I just heard that Hilary left “to pursue her own projects.” All her authors have been reassigned. But I’ve only heard that from one author. I’m very sad this has happened, because Hilary is one of the stalwarts of the romance genre, an editor with a Name, and before this, with some clout of her own. Long may she prosper.
In answer to your question, yes it counts.
As for this – I wish I knew. Make a call and fine out, k? Then you can share with the rest of us.
It’s just emerged that Kensington is to halve their Aphrodisia line. Ah.
So cut the number of books that will be coming out?
Yes, and since Hilary had a lot to do with the creation of Aphrodisia, she would probably not like that very much.
I’ve only heard from one source, but it seems fairly solid, and it makes sense of Hilary’s abrupt departure.
