With Every Breath by Lynn Kurland Fantasy time-travel romance released by Jove May 2008One of my very favorite authors! She doesn’t get the attention she deserves, says me. |
A side note – I have got to change my rating system, dang it all. I suppose I’ll go back to numbers. I always have too many books with the same rating and then I can’t sort them properly.
Honorable Mention:
Josh Lanyon’s Adrien English Mysteries – yup, I read them all in 08…I can haz moar, plzkthx? | |
J.L. Langley’s Englor Series – just so fab! |
Whoa! Cool list. It makes me so need to get that Larissa Ione.
Oh Carolyn Jean, you must read Larissa Ione! You won’t regret it! :o)
Great list. I agree, Kurland, doesn’t get enought attention, that’s one of my favorites of the series, an honorable mention for my books of the year. I like the Jo Bev a lot but others more for best of 2008 (Goodman’s Price of Desire, Carlyle’s Never Romance a Rake and Seduce Me at Sunrise, Kleypas). Gabriel’s Ghost I loved when I read it back in 2005.
Got to get that Ione out of the TBR, along with Grimspace, Heart Fate and the Julie James. I’m so behind and seeing these “best of” lists is reminding me to hurry up and read faster, lol.
Great list! I’ve read a few of those and they landed on my list, too. I’m so glad you included Ione’s Pleasure Unbound. I loved it immensely as well.
