I haven’t hurt anyone yet but it has come verra verra close…. it sort of makes me want to redo the blog template… or something…
The awesome nath has a review up of one of my favorite books, which happens to be the first in a series, The Rules of Seduction by Madeline Hunter. Why is this nifty you ask? Well it is apart of Keishon’s TBR challenge – if you don’t know it – GET THEE IN THE KNOW.
And her next book in the series comes out soon….
One of my favorite peeps to break bread with, KristieJ posts about teh… Harlequin Horrid Title Syndrome. What do you think? Is this a new trend?
Does it matter to you? What is the worst title you have seen? The best? Would you buy the book anyway? ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what a great contests! I have some SSE to give away you know 😉

At Dear Author Jane is celebrating the upcoming Kresley Cole release’s by giving away some books!
In celebration of Cole’s writing and her back to back releases, Dark Needs at Night’s Edge and Dark Desires After Dusk, I’m giving away 15 copies of Dark Needs at Night’s Edge. They are currently sitting on my counter and I am anxious to send them out. So go forth and comment. I’ll randomly select you to win a copy of Dark Needs so you too can enjoy Kresley Cole and one of her innocent, beleaguered men.
To enter you have to comment… And you can get a sneak peek at the next book here. hmmm we need an excerpt of Dark Needs don’t we?
KarenS has her on special take on Cover Model Madness…
And go check out a review for a book we gave away as Chantal (who looks like she is working for an epub now… who the heck is Resplendence Publishing?) reviewed Private Party by Jami Alden. (oh and yes we will have an excerpt from Caught, Jami’s first Brava coming up soon!).
So what about you? What new with you?
I have to say it again, but why didn’t someone insist, with force if necessary, that I read Kresley Cole? I started the first book today and OMG I love it like a fat kid loves… well… you know.
Damn that’s a lot going on. I’m horrible -and I know a ton of people looooved this book – but one of the “bad” title is “Baby on the Billionaire’s Doorstep.” It makes me think door stop. As in the baby. Meaning I’m going to hell.
Haha- no really. I’m waiting for “Baby Mama’s Brother’s Secret Mystery Virgin Dog Walker’s Mistress-Girlfriend.”
The worst title I’ve seen in a while was The Baby Doctors. Not because the title was so horrible, but because I bought the book and read the book and really liked the book– but there was no baby in the book. Not a one. Neither doctor was an OB/Gyn. Neither was a Pediatrician. Neither had anything to do with babies at all. I liked the book, but the title was just a tad misleading . . .
And OMG, limecello, I would certainly buy abook titled BMBSMVDWM-G. Just because I’d have to– it’d be a moral imperative.
BTW, Baby on the Billionaire’s Doorstep is a good book– just in case you can get past the title . . .
