This is the new trilogy that has kept us without a book this year from Nicole Jordan. It will be released back to back starting on January 29, 2008. What do you think? No of the books… we will talk more about the trilogy in a min.
I have to say they ring bells for me and sound a lil bit like other books. But I love a guardian/ward story and the first chapter has me interested. Even if it calls to mind Hunter’s Seducer Series ;). And the excerpt for the second book, To Bed a Beauty, was interesting as well.
I hope the books themselves live up to the excerpts.
I love the covers – the way the title is the same as the background. I haven’t read a Jordon book in a long time. These just might make me change that!
Nicole Jordan isn’t one of the authors that incite booklust in me, I don’t even go searching to see what she’s got coming out. She’s 2nd or 3rd tier TBR, but if I see one of her books, I always buy it.
One of her strengths is that she weaves actual historical figures and events into her stories. Granted, sometimes her books become more history lesson than romance, but when they’ve got the right balance between fact and fiction, they are excellent.
I’m not sure if this trilogy is pure romance fiction or she plays to her strengths and weaves some real-life events and people in, but either way, I expect these to be lush and spicy and I will probably pick them up.
Really? You sure you got the right author there? Sounds more like Foley than Jordan but it has been a WHILE since I read a Nicole Jordan.
🙂
The series sounds good ~ I may have to get them when they come out next year. I
Oh crap! See, this is why I shouldn’t try to multitask– I was thinking of Virginia Henley’s books. My bad.
But I DO enjoy Nicole Jordan’s romances. They are nice and spicy and this part still applies:
Now, back to work for me and no more trying to play at the same time.
I admit I am easily entranced by beautiful book covers. These book covers are stunning. I know, I know… don’t judge a book by its cover. I can’t help it… it’s art appreciation! 😉
Come January 2008, someone let me know if the inside is as stunning as the outside…. 🙂
I like the covers very much. I see NJ’s books, but I have yet to read one.
Oooo, Those are some great covers.
